Hi,

Most of you are TVP's fans and maybe you can help...

A friend of mine is looking for information on the picture from the front sleeve of "Privilege"...

Anyone has any information (more than the indicated on the album credits)?

If you really care about things like this, ask Alison (alison@alisonwonderland.co.uk). I suspect she doesn't want to engage in lengthy conversations about Dan, mind.

I've contacted Alison a couple of times in the past regarding photos / sleeves and she was friendly and helpful.

ok, i finally found the answer to this:

The photo is a a scene from a Gilbert & Sullivan comic opera entitled Patience. It's Victorian satire of the affectations of the Aesthetes.

I got the above from a short biography of Oscar Wilde.
