Funnily enough, that's what I've been listening to as well! Takes a few listens to get into, but there are some gems in there. My four year old LOVES the title track, which becomes addictive after a while...

:D I listened to the LP last Saturday night before I went out. I had 'I Get Scared When I Don't Know Where You Are' in my head all night!

I had quite the same effect with this song this week.
Right now I listen to 'I Would Write A Thousand Words' TVP Tribute pt.II
It arrives this morning, and I am lucky to be alone and have the time... :D Thank you Wally and all the people involved in this lovely project!

Neil Young & Crazy Horse - 'Zuma', 'American Stars N Bars', several other recordings dated around the mid '70s. I just love his (electric) guitar playing in this period, it sounds very intense.

Kind of strange and young band 'Hanky and Panky'. You can download the first album via http://www.hankyandpanky.com/disco.html for free.
If you like TVP's, give it a chance! :D

The tunes are brill but I don't like too much the Chipmunks vocals. Jolly good listen, though!

For the friends of REM (mostly). There is a free tribute album of their 15 year old 'Atomatic for the people'. Happy Birthday, album!

Download for free a nice 8-track EP from a Band called "Inlets". It reminds me of some favorite Poptunes of mine: Late Talk Talk and Sufjan Stevens, to name just two.
Enjoy!

Mark Glynne & Bart Zwier - "Tick Tock Nightmare"

It's a great song from album "Home Comfort".

I just picked up the new BIG DIPPER 3 cd anthology on the Merge label. It's called "Supercluster". Includes their first three albums and some demos/unreleased, and the 3rd disc is tracks which would have made up some of their never-happened fifth album. They are also doing three NY/NJ/MA area reunion shows to promote it.

Amida..

Their 'Arts & Crafts' EP is a little gem.. Shades of early Orange Juice / Postcard Records.
