Allo!
Looks like i'm the new kid (!) on the block.
Have only had a quick look around but seems like a nice bunch of folk post on here!
i hate all the 'my name's bob and i'm a taurus' mallarkey, but i know it's only polite to give a little introduction.
So...... there's not much music i don't like, but i came of age in the seventies so punk rock has always meant a lot to me.
Surprisingly, given how much i love em, i've only seen the Television Personalities once! That was just after Syd died. (i was really looking forward to seeing the band next friday, but for obvious tragic reasons that wont be happening!).
i live in That London and go to quite a few gigs. i love Vic Godard and the Subway Sect, The Fall and Gertrude (amongst millions of others)
i post a bit on another forum, and in case anyone's interested, someone from there has put the following bit of work together

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eSXmO7es ... r_embedded

The footage is from a fairly recent gig (last year??) but the sound was shite, so he fiddled about with the audio from a Kershaw session to make it sound 'live' and spliced it on. (i know he won't mind me posting it here).

Anyway - nice to be here, and i look forward to further posting!

Hi everyone,
we're Silvana and Marc from Germany.

Marc got his first TVPs C90 tape from a guy called "Mod Peter" around 1986. He told him that's important stuff to listen. Together with Keg's fantastic archive and some old calendars he could figure out that he saw his first TVPs show May 11th 1987 in Frankfurt at a club called Cookys.

Silvana got her first TVPs record „Chocolat Art“ as a present by Thomas Zimmermann who at the time run the label „Pastell“. She instantly loved the record and since then became a fan. Her absolut highlight was when she met Dan personally at shared show of TVPs and Woog Riots.
