Clearly the reviewer didn't get what TVP's are about and, like the majority of the audience, was only interested in the main act. "Flat" and "little energy"?? Nonsense...It was a very solid, not to mention sober, performance from Dan. He coped well with the partisan audience, cracking jokes and getting laughs and applause for all the right reasons. Titus are a great band and were very friendly and complimentry towards TVP's both before and after the show. It was a good night.
Setlist included:
People Think That We're Strange
Three Wishes
Not A Bad Bone In My Body
Paradise Is For The Blessed
All The Things You Are
Closer To God
I Was A Mod...
King And Country
Photograph (Ringo Starr cover)
My Very First Nervous Breakdown (with Interstellar Overdrive cropping up in the middle of the song)
This Time There's No Happy Ending (played for Titus' frontman Patrick Stickles who had mentioned to Dan that it's his favourite TVP's song)
