THE KABEEDIES
"The Kabeedies simply make you want to dance around the room, forget your troubles and have a bloody good time. A frantically-paced slice of indie-pop full to the brim with pacey tunes and infectious choruses." Clash Magazine

SAN LEON (Spain)
In 2005, five young kids joined together to play some some music. An album was released, some shows were made, some parties were slammed. These five kids landed all of a sudden into the record music show biz world and got scared. The same fear made half of the band succeed as much as 'El Guisante Mágico' (or more..) with another project they had, so both projects divided and kept on.
El Guisante Mágico is / was front guided by Aldo Comas. Aldo has now joined another crew that's why the name decision has been made. These people, Arny Obiols, Miky Cave and Aldo Comas have become SAN LEON. A new album is due to be released in November 2009 through Sinnamon Records.

MJ HIBBETT
Solo show from MJ Hibbett, who normally performs with his band The Validators, but tonight will play on his own. They released two singles in 2008, Do The Indie Kid and It Only Works Because You're Here, both of which appear on their latest album Regardez, Ecoutez Et Repetez, released as ever on their own label Artists Against Success. It was recorded over the course of two years at The Snug Recording Company in Derby with every aspect of the album's creation organised by the band themselves, from the sound production to the design and manufacture. As usual the finished CD features a wide range of 'DVD Extras' including a lyrics booklet, interviews, extra songs and even a crossword, all devised by The Validators.

Someone - not me - has put the Herne Hill gig on www.dimeadozen.org - check it out - I was pulled in on semi-acoustic and "The General" reggae toasted his way through "....."Dorian Gray"

The band were much more together at the Stag's Head (probably because I stayed in the audience) but soon I'll have some youtube vids up of The Stag's Head - including a great version of "Long Time Gone"

Hello Mr Groovy.

First of all you need to get yourself an account on Dimeadozen. This is easier said than done, as the site is usually fully subscribed each time you try. They weed out dormant account on a regular basis to allow new users on. So you can either
a) get lucky, or
b) install a sneaky application like 'check4change' which will alert you when the page saying "we are open for new accounts" pops up in place of the "sorry, we over over-subscribed".

Next, you will need torrent software installed on your machine.
U torrent seems to be as good as any.
http://www.utorrent.com/

With that installed and you dime account active, you click on the link and it kicks off the download... which might take some time, depending how many people out there are sharing the files.

Good luck!
