Television Personalities @ Rip It Up Festival, Sweden

Post by Keg » Wed Jul 11, 2007 11:07 pm

Television Personalities played at the 'Rip it up' festival in Saffle, Sweden, on 7th July 2007.

Here's a brief review from the Hello! Surprise! blog:

Television Personalities' singer Dan Treacy should probably take it easy on the alcohol in the future. Maybe this was how they wanted their gig to be, but... I don't think they managed to finish a single song. He was pretty close on Part-time punks where he got 80% of the lyrics right, on the fourth(?) try. People in the audience weren't pleased about this. This morning when I was leaving the area I saw Dan walking (oh well) around, still drunk. His mates wanted him to jump in the car so they could leave, when he dropped the immortal "There's always time for a beer". Pure class?

Dan Treacy get a mention or two on the live journal of Rachel Stevenson of the band Fosca, who played immediately before the TVPs on Saturday night.

I wonder if the whole thing was video'd or at least someone did an audio?
If you know, please let me know!
