The forum has been unavailable for a couple of days after I encountered some technical problems with the upgrade. Fortunately, everything is sorted and we're back up and running.

Edit: Ok, slight issue with missing avatars. I have these files backed up so I'll look into reinstating them.

I'm going to attempt a long overdue upgrade of the forum software this evening, Sunday 3rd March 2019. The forum will be unavailable for a short while during the process but should hopefully be back up and running before anybody notices.

Apologies for the recent loss of site at the start of the month. This was due to an oversight regarding the renewal of the domain name. It's all sorted now and we're back up and running.

As a consequence of the software upgrade, it appears that some of the personal avatars haven't been transferred over. Users will have to upload any missing ones again.

Over the next day or two I will be upgrading the forum's software from phpBB 2.0 to phpBB 3.0. This will introduce a few new features that users may find useful. Just a note to let people know that I've increased the maximum permissible avatar size from 80 x 80 pixels to 100 x 100.

Hi everyone.

There was a problem with the forum following a software upgrade which meant that the topics weren't displaying. This affected the forum from about 5 pm on Saturday 8th December. Happily, it's now fixed.
